Company History

ISCL was established in 1991 by Maitland Candy to service the Security requirements of the Central North Island Forestry Estates.  It has grown since to develop a branch network encompassing the full range of security services. ISCL employs more than 60 part and full time staff:

Fully licenced pursuant to the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 1974 – Registration Number 1888.

Maitland Candy - Managing Director has 43 years continuous experience within the Security Industry.  Maitland is no stranger to the Security Industry and is currently recognised as the longest serving owner of a Security company in NZ.

Staff

Our technical team has a combined experience in excess of 75 years in the installation of Intruder, Environmental, Fire Alarms, Camera's and CCTV Systems.

  • Founder member of the New Zealand Security Industry Association (1975).
  • Registered with the Private Investigator and Security Guards Act 1974 S.G.E.No.371.

Michael Burton - Technical Manager

  • 30 years industry experience
  • Sales, Installation and Service of Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems
  • Responsibility for Technical Installations and Special Projects
  • Allocation of Technical Staff
  • Technical Stock Control

Megan Collier-Baker - Technical/Business Development Administration

  • Manages all current Council reporting requirements
  • Manages all current incident reporting for ISCL
  • Responsible for billing our ISCL clients
  • Technical Billing

Sam Kiff - Forestry and Road Control

  • Patrol Deployment
  • Billing and Administration
